With the demise of two of our most favoured donation platforms used in the past ten years (MyDonate and VirginMoney Giving) we have relied on CAF Donate to receive one-off and recurring donations. We have always sought to minimise the impact of transaction fees by adopting platforms that kept these charges to the minimum, or who charged nothing.
Problem for us is most kind humans out there who approach us wanting to raise funds through challenges and other activities always want to know if we are on JustGiving and until a few weeks ago we weren't listed. That's now changed. We have decided to jump back on the JustGiving donation train as it is clearly more convenient for fundraisers and those who would answer their calls to action for causes they care about.
Fundraisers and the public in general recognise the brand as synonymous with charity fundraising and therefore not having a profile on their directory could mean we are missing out on donations.
As we are prepping some major fundraising activity of our very own for Q4 we felt the time was right to get back on the front-foot and be on a platform everybody knows and recognises.
So here we are - thanks to that Bloc Party classic!
